Available Materials
The Genealogy Department has a collection of approximately 3,000 family files and family history books; census information for the state of Mississippi for the years 1820-1880 and 1900-1940 with various state and county information is available.
Jones County Genealogical and Historical Organization
The Jones County Genealogical and Historical Organization hosts a monthly meeting in the upstairs meeting room on the fourth Saturday of every month at 10:00 a.m. The meeting for November will take place on the second Saturday and there will be no meeting in December.
