The Laurel-Jones County Library System provides a Genealogy Department with a trained genealogist to assist you in how to trace and document your family history. The Genealogy Department is open:

Thursday 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Friday 9:00 am – 12:00 pm & 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm; closed 12:00 pm – 1:00 am for lunch
Saturday: 10:00 am—1:00 pm, closed every 3rd Saturday

Children’s Services of Laurel-Jones County Library System offers a variety of materials to encourage reading and literacy in children of all ages. A weekly theme for children’s programs connects arts and crafts to developing reading and social skills. Special programs are held throughout the year.
